With Florian Westphal and the Yoga of Chanting Group
Duration: 1 hour – Free admission
These evenings are an invitation to dive into the vibrant world of sacred chanting. Bhajans, Kirtans, and mantra recitations are ancient practices from the Vedic tradition, opening the heart, uplifting the spirit, and calming the mind.
Carried by the voice, the instruments, and collective energy, these chants allow us to reconnect with the essential, celebrate inner joy, and nourish a deep silence. No prior experience is needed — everyone is welcome to sing, listen, or simply let themselves be moved.
A graduate of the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in vocal performance and musical writing, Florian received a comprehensive and versatile education including choral conducting, stagecraft, piano, jazz, and percussion.
After 25 years of singing opera on French and international stages, he dedicated himself to teaching voice and exploring the link between classical vocal technique and yoga. He was initiated into Vedanta by Swami Veetamohananda, whose teachings he followed from 2003 until his passing in 2019.
