"The practice of meditation renews our self and transforms our personality. This activity helps us to discover the real causes of our difficulties, to find their roots in the depths of our subconscious. It removes stress, anxiety and fear and works toward the destruction of the primal cause behind all of our hardships and suffering. Meditation develops efficacy at work, true intelligence (or higher intelligence), concentration, the right sense of self-esteem —in short, the courage to be."

Swami Veetamohananda is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order, which is based in India. He is adept in all of the major different yogas (karma, bhakti, raja and jnana), in Sanskrit, as well as in singing and classical Indian music. Swami Veetamohananda has been President of the Ramakrishna Vedanta Centre (located in France), since 1994. He is a member of the "Interreligious Monastic Dialogue", where he participates regularly in different activities in the pursuit of peace and harmony, which has also led him to establish good relations between the Orient and Occident in the field of spirituality.. Swami Veetamohananda is often invited to deliver lectures across Europe and further abroad, for example on "Yoga in everyday life", and to lead sessions of guided meditation and chanting.
